My Story
Rooting and Rising is a relational practice born out of years of deep listening to my body, to the cycles of Nature, and to the wisdom carried through story and silence. But it was during a Vision Fast in Death Valley that I received the transmission that would later become the backbone of this offering:
Soy curandera.
I lead with a fierce heart.
The medicine that runs through me has its roots in ancient ways of healing.
I am here to serve.
I am here to evolve.
I am here to discover ways to unearth the medicine we carry in our bodies and in our stories.
I work with others — human and non-human — in the visible and invisible realms.
Although at the time I did not fully understand what these words were asking of me, over the years the energy of this transmission pointed toward a more elemental and relational way of being, one rooted not only in my personal practice, but in collective spaces of inquiry, ritual, and shared becoming. In recent years, this took shape through projects such as Expansion into Menopause and Moon Cycles, where I facilitated the practice of Rooting and Rising alongside outstanding guides* and remarkable women willing to journey deeply into the question of who we truly are.
Over the years, this path also introduced me to the practice and stewardship of the Eight Treasures Qi Gong*, whose movements and cosmology now form the embodied backbone of Inner Seasons.
My offerings are also deeply informed by Classical Chinese Medicine and Ways of Council*, both of which continue to shape how I listen, relate, and assist others in entering a more honest relationship with their True Nature and with the Mystery that traverses us all. And for this, Pachamama remains my most trustworthy teacher and guide.
Looking forward to walking together,
Yamin
