The Practice of Council
The Grandmothers of old gathered in circles to listen to themselves, to each other, and to the Land, attuning to the often unseen treasures nestled in the belly of the mundane. Following in their steps, we come together in the simplicity of who we are, to listen and to speak from the heart of our individual and shared experiences.
In Council, we take turns holding each voice—our own and each other’s—without interruption or correction. As we listen and speak from the heart, we begin to recognize the threads that connect us, not because we are the same, but because we are not separate.
In our Women’s Council practice, we gather at the meeting point of our inner cycles and the seasonal rhythms of the Earth. Through shared stories, we begin to notice how this intersection lives within us, shaping our relationships with ourselves, with one another, and with the greater mystery that holds us.
What unfolds in the circle is not something we determine in advance. It emerges through presence, through listening, and through the willingness to meet what is here, together.
How we will gather
We are calling a circle of 12 women who feel a yes to Council. This is a commitment to meet monthly, moving together through the four seasons: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
We will meet online on the second Sunday of each month, beginning September 13, 2026, from 10:00–12:00 PT.
There is no financial cost. What is asked in return is your presence. If at any point you sense that you do not have the time or capacity to participate, we ask that you honor the circle by ceding your seat to another woman who is able and willing to step in.
If you feel the Circle already moving you, the registration is below.
Our circle of 12 women is now complete, and a waiting list is open. Please register below. We will let you know if a seat becomes available.
