Welcome to Rooting and Rising!
We are reaching out to you with a special opportunity to Root and Rise, alone and together, in deep dialogue with Nature, inside and out. This is an invitation to come together to co-create a meaningful space for you to be yourself, with all that is moving in your inner world as you enter, claim or reclaim your (and our) meaning of menopause. In this year long immersive experience, guided by skilled and loving practitioners, we invite you to discover and uncover the vision, the gifts, the grief and the potential awaiting to be “seen” in your body, in Pachamama’s body and in the body of the collective. Through this transformative journey, you will have the opportunity to explore the depths of your being, both individually and collectively, and tap into the wisdom of nature in a profound and transformative way. This is a unique chance for personal growth, healing, and connection with your inner self and the world around you. Together, let us embark on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Around Elderhood…
If you are past the “high heat” of menopause and already paving the road to elderhood, this program offers you the possibility to affirm, envision and discover who you are or intend to be as an elder for yourself and for your community.

Wild Cards…
If you are a younger woman who feels called to inquire, explore and challenge our society’s assumptions and beliefs of menopause, aside from spending valuable time with vibrant-elder women, of course you are welcome to join us!
What you will Receive
We will mark the beginning of our journey at the Fall Equinox 2023 and will dive into each of the Elements for the duration of each season until we complete the cycle at the end of summer 2024. At the beginning of each month, you will receive a workbook laying out the theme for the season, including prompts for reflection and herbal remedies that can help you harmonize the oftentimes intense menopausal awakenings. During the course of each month, we will work with the following threads:
Living with the Elements of Nature
During these sessions, Yamin Chehin will not only guide you in understanding the profound concepts of the Five Elements but will also provide teachings on how to self-activate acupuncture points through meditation and movement. You will delve deeper into the wisdom of the Taoist map, gaining insights and practical techniques to enhance your well-being and balance your energy flow.
Write to be you
You will have monthly opportunities to listen deeply to yourself and others, guided by Rory Green. As you reflect on personal and collective themes through intuitive writing prompts, you will be able to tap into your inner thoughts and emotions on a regular basis. This practice fosters a deeper connection with yourself and those around you, allowing for a greater understanding and empathy. By engaging in this process, you will have the chance to explore and express your unique perspectives, ultimately leading to personal growth and a stronger sense of community.
Five Elements’ Tarot sessions
Jade Rose will guide monthly group tarot readings with a focus on how the archetypes of the tarot speak to and work with the five elements. During these Five Element Tarot sessions we will dive into the symbolism behind some of the cards which align with each of the seasons we will journey through together. You will leave these sessions feeling aligned with your intuition and affirmed in your truth.
Monthly Council Practice
At the end of each month, Yamin will facilitate a Council Circle. This Council practice serves as a platform where we can come together, exchange wisdom and insights, and truly listen to one another as we embrace and integrate the valuable experiences gained throughout the cycle of that particular month.
In addition to the Council Practice, Yamin will guide “Dream Circles” where we can explore our personal and collective dream time to discover more about ourselves individually and as a community.

Guest Teachers and Facilitators
During the course of the program, there will be live talks, discussions, and workshops offered by guest teachers who will guide and support you in delving deeper into your understanding and experience of menopause.
Community Forum
Participants will have a chance to share their experience and inspirations with the Rooting and Rising community forum as another expression of the co-creation of the meaning of menopause as we move through the cycles of the Five Elements.
