Community Forum Guidelines

Discussions worldwide have become increasingly polarized. People tend to think that if someone has a different opinion, it automatically invalidates their own. Social media conversations are sometimes unpleasant, argumentative, and aggressive, making it difficult to have meaningful discussions. While this forum is a private page on social media, online platforms in general have become hostile environments for open conversations.

For the sake of everybody’s wellbeing, we encourage you to follow the guidelines below at all times.

1. We ask that we keep things friendly and respectful in this community. Our intention is to practice listening and speaking from the Heart in all of our Rooting and Rising interactions, including this forum.

2. Always err on the side of kindness and respect towards one another. Remember that we all come from different backgrounds and have different perspectives and life experiences.

3. Please practice “leanness of expression” in your posting and commenting, keeping it relevant to the subject matter at hand. Avoid quoting random things or using memes. This community is for thoughtful and heart-felt discussion, so be considerate of others’ time and attention.

4. Advertising business-related products, courses, and workshops is not allowed on this platform, even if the events are free.

5. Please do not publish or share any program content without permission from the copyright holders. We value the integrity of the program and the materials shared with you. If you wish to share or quote something, please approach the relevant person for permission.

6. Our intention is to promote inclusive discussions. We don’t tolerate any form of bullying or offensive comments. Please be mindful of the topics you discuss and avoid making degrading remarks about race, religion, culture, politics, neurodiversity, sexual orientation, gender, or identity.
